Here at Staplands we strive to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children in our care. We encourage individuality, creativity and instil confidence in all our children. Staplands Aims are: * To provide an excellent quality experience for the children in their early years of development and education. * To provide all children with continuity of care & high quality education. * To meet the needs of all families. * A commitment to provide an excellent and affordable childcare service.
Staplands Nursery is situated in the ground floor of a Victorian building in Thomas Lane, Broadgreen. It is close to the motorway and has easy access from the surrounding area's of Childwall, Knotty Ash, Old Swan & Huyton. We open daily 8.00am till 6.00pm` It has been owned and managed by Kerri Titherington since 2004 who has 26 years experience of Early Years and 21 of them in management. We provide care for children aged 0-5 years. We are a small nursery who cater for 22 children each day. We are very much a home from home setting and pride ourselves on being a very close knit nursery, where all staff know all children & parents. Also our children benefit from lots of 1 on 1 attention. Children are encouraged to play and explore; to be active learners; and to think critically. Resources and activities are tailored to your child’s needs and interests, and the children are involved in choosing and planning activities. The start and end of the day are a very sociable time where younger children can mix with older children, which offers great learning benefits for all age groups and means siblings can be together. Every day is planned to be varied, whilst also following the routine to the day. Activities are tailored to your child’s interest and developmental needs. We know the best way for children to learn is through play, so whilst they enjoy the freedom to explore and create their own play, we have focused activities and special “invitations to play” throughout the day. At Staplands we like to explore our local environment through taking the children out into our local community. This offers endless learning opportunities and fun. Some typical outings would be to the loop line, the train station, the museum, local parks, library, farm outings & cultural outings. We also have a wonderful outdoor space for children to enjoy on a daily basis.
The nursery and garden are risk assessed and checked on a daily basis, to make it a safe environment for your child. Policies and procedures are in place to cover all aspects of the health and welfare of your child. We try and carefully balance activities to give your child the freedom to be independent and explore with the need to keep them safe. All staff are well qualified and have DBS checks and references so you can rest assured your child is in good hands. We start to get to know your child from the moment of your first visit, this continues in the settling in period, and carries on beyond. Prior to your child starting we will talk in detail to give us a good understanding of their likes, dislikes, routine and needs so that we can personally tailor their care to ensure they feel happy and secure with us. In the weeks leading up to your child starting Staplands we provide settling in sessions. This enables them & you to get to know their key worker & get used to the nursery environment.

We are open Monday to Friday

8am - 6pm.

We are closed all bank holidays.
